"I need a job NOW!"
This is the most common plea I hear when I sit down with job seekers. Sure, people would love to discover their calling or passion, BUT…first things first. They need a job to keep up with the bills, kids’ education, car payments, etc. And when I dig deep, I discover that although they’ve put a ton of work into their job search, they are not really making much progress. This is the VERY reason DigYourWork was formed.
The mission of DigYourWork is to teach job seekers around the world a more efficient and effective way to land a job.
DigYourWork has developed a training program that removes the fear and anxiety from the job search and teaches people how to get a job fast
But let's first take a look at:
Two Important Truths For Job Seekers
1) Getting a job is hard.
If you're like most job seekers, you are not professionally trained on how to get a job. In fact, for a lot of you, this is the first time in your career where you've had to put in any kind of real effort into finding a job. Hence, the problem. It would be frustrating for anyone to take on something they've never really done before, have essentially no training for it, and now it has become their full-time job just to get a job. Add in a lot of competition and the pressures of piled-up bills and it can get down-right paralyzing. So, first things first, give yourself some grace…you're not supposed to be good at this.
Let's also take a look at the resources available to you. Most of what's being taught out there is antiquated, passive and quite frankly, not that effective. Most of the advice on getting a job is focused on you; on you performing, on you looking good, on you saying the right things, on you having to be perfect, etc. That's a lot of pressure!
In The DigYourWork Program, you're going to learn how to get a job fast by NOT focusing on yourself. You are going to learn how to approach the job search from an entirely new perspective…one that takes the focus off of you, removing the fear and anxiety that accompany the typical job search.
2) You have to do something different.
When things aren't working in life, isn't it odd how we tend to do the same thing over and over again, yet we expect different results? We all know that’s the definition of insanity. So, we then try slight variations of what's already not working. That's our mind's way of tricking us into believing we're doing something different, but in reality we’re still in the comfort zone. Unfortunately, nothing changes in the comfort zone... still the same old result: no job.
Ain't no way around it; if you want different results, you have to approach your job search from an entirely new perspective. It certainly doesn't have to be the training program taught here, but it does have to be something different.
So, feel free to check out the The DigYourWork Program. There are a handful of sample audios on THE PROGRAM page, and to hear the experiences of successful job seekers that have used this unique approach, check out the SUCCESS STORIES page. If, after exploring, you feel it's not for you, that's cool. Just don't give up. Continue to seek out a completely different approach than the one you're currently using; the one you already know that does not work.
Then “pay it forward” by taking what you’ve learned and sharing it with other job seekers.
